Hopefully My Therapy Visits Will Be Covered by Insurance

This new therapist that I'm seeing doesn't take insurance.
But my health insurance will pay even for an out-of-network provider at their approved rate.
So today I'm mailing my receipts for my first 3 visits that I paid for out of pocket to see what my health insurance company is going to reimburse me, if any.
I really like this therapist and I want to keep seeing her, but I can't afford it if my health insurance doesn't pick up the bulk of it, so I guess I'll know in a couple of weeks whether or not I can continue going.

There's quite a few doctors here that don't want to bother with the slow payments by insurance companies and being restricted as to what they can and can't do being determined by an insurance company.

This is the thing I hate about this system. If you find a good provider, then it's a mater of who's going to foot the bill?
