HAS ANYONE TRIED TO FIND SOMEONE YOU WENT TO SCHOOL(public or highschool)

Has anyone tried to find a best friend that you have lost touch with over the years????I have and the sad thing is I found them on Classmaates and have no credit card so I can't talk to them and they can't talk to me! Any other Ideas as to get in touch with that person!This has been going on for about 2 years now!

believe it or not I've found a ton of people through Myspace. Or even ask around old friends or try the whitepages.com

I have tried to get in touch with all my school friends. Orkut has been the best site for such activity. It has been a site that has been subject to much abuse though it has gotten me in touch with three of my good school friends.

I don't like Classmates to be honest, they charge too much. There may be some other reunion sites that are less pricey and are just as good. I have to look but yes I have tried to get in contact with some old friends. Also from public school. It would be interesting to see what some are up to nowadays.

I signed up on Classmates.com and a former school friend paid the dough to get my email address. I was stunned when she emailed me because we became strong enemies half-way through high school.
I recently checked in on another site I registered with. I can't remember the name of the database. In order to get the email addresses of any friends listed you have to refer the site to 24 people. I did that and am now in touch with two classmates from high school. It is so cool.

Here(PA) we can get a mastcard or a visa Credit card and put amount on it(PRE PAY) I got one for Christmas last years I am not sure where my brother got it but I can find out you can use it just like a Credit Card.

Yeah I have tried my best to find my lost friends of my school times and I was lucky enough that al last I was enabled to find them on ORKUT... an online friend portal...
We have been separated for alteast 3 years or so... and I am happy to meet them back again even if its a virtual meeting place over the NET....

i found my best friend from middle school. The last time we spoke before now was 1989.
I found him by posting his full name as the subject on Yahoo message boards. Then in the body, I just gave vague info. His wife contacted me a couple months later. We've talked ever since.
