ANY NATURAL REMEDY FOR A NON-HEALING WOUND?

I have a friend already I his early eighties who is in real pain. He’s had a wound that seems to defy all sorts medical intervention. It began over 15 years ago when a sharp stick pricked his leg. What started as a small – almost painless wound would then turn into a big life-threatening wound. He’s spent a lot of money trying to find cure all in vain. An amputation had been considered but unfortunately, he refused. His condition seems to worsen and it is really giving him a lot of trouble considering he is aged. I wonder if there could be a natural remedy for such a wound that doesn’t seem to heal.
