A funk for no reason

October 16, 2025 12:46pm CST
Idk if it's cuz the weather's changing or what but I've just been so tired lately for like no reason?? I'm sleeping fine, eating normal, but I still wake up exhausted. probably just got too much going on in my head or something been trying to take it easier tho - going on longer walks, not scrolling as much, drinking more coffee lol (which probably doesn't help but whatever) anyone else in like a weird funk rn or is it just me?

I get them too. Some days it's "Life has no meaning. And then we get old. And then we die." Other days, it's "There is beauty everywhere, including in human interaction. We just have to take it in and savor it"

Oh, more coffee sure won't help with your sleep! Maybe on your day/s off you can catch up. I do know one thing, when the days start to get shorter, it affects a whole lot of people. Lack of sunlight is a huge bummer for me, so maybe you're dealing with that.

@Dammy4life you can buy special lights that are therapeutic for SAD (seasonal Affective disorder), but also, it's recommended to embrace "coziness" in the colder and darker months by using several small lights instead of a room's overhead light. I started doing that, and it really does make me feel cozier. Other cozy stuff is a mug of hot chocolate or soup, fuzzy socks, lap blankets, etc. As goofy as some of those things may sound, it might help!

I have felt that way recently. I always take stock of what is going on to see if something is going on in my life I need to take care of. Sometimes it’s just a mood that has to pass. Then sometimes I realize a visit to the doctor might be necessary. Just know you aren’t alone.

I have a feeling that the changes in weather is the cause of many of us feeling tired during the day.
