If you had to move to a new country tomorrow, what would you take with you?

My answer is "very little." But then again I'm a minimalist. I definitely wouldn't take furniture. I'd just buy some there. I'd take my husband and my cat (yes I know there are issues with pet quarantines and such). I'd take my important documents like passport, social security card, cash, credit cards, etc. I'd take clothes and shoes and medications. I am not sentimental so I would not take any photos or artwork. No decor. Really very little. What would you take?

@looeyville The new home would be in Greece, either in Athens or on the island of Aegina. I’d take my wife and daughter, documentation, and a supply of Imodium just in case. Nothing else.

I'd have to have my photos; but I have so many binders it would be impossible.

I would take my mom’s wedding ring, important papers, and my dog. Of course, my family would have to go with me because I’m not permanently leaving the country without my main loved ones.
