My Plans for The Weekend.

Okay, this is a continuation of my previous post. It was getting too long, so I decided to post my weekend plans separately. Saturday: I have my day blocked out on Saturday. If anyone wants to hang with me, they’ll have to attend these (free) events. After my niece gets off work around noon, a few of us are heading to BARCstober Fest ‘25. Those who’ve followed me on here for years may know how much I look forward to this annual event. It’s a festival with various vendors, information booths, adoption spots, etc., and they raise money for the dogs and cats in shelters while trying to get some of them adopted out. There’s also a dog costume contest, so I’m surrounded by well-dressed pups lol. There’s even a cat tent (no dogs allowed). I never take my dogs – crowds aren’t their thing – but I always bring them back something. Sometimes, we manage to score some good freebies as well. Once we’re done at the festival, we’ll head home and relax. I’ll probably eat lunch and give my dogs whatever goodies I grab for them. At some point, I’m going to head to the Lantern Festival. It’s part of the parade later that night, but there are festivals and activities. Depending on what time we head to the festival, we’ll either come home or stick around for the parade. If we head home, we’ll go back in time for the parade. Either way, we’re going to watch the Lantern Parade at 7 pm, as always. The lanterns are so cool. Last year, a few people did Ghostbusters lanterns lol. I think when I get home, I’ll relax and eat dinner, and then I’m going to watch “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” again. I’ve watched it a few times already, but I think it’ll be a nice way to wrap up the day/evening. Eventually, I’ll head to bed. I won’t be out late, but I’m sure I’ll still be exhausted. Sunday: I don’t have anything planned for Sunday yet. It’s possible my best friend will want to go out. It’s also possible I won’t have anything planned at all, in which case I’ll just relax. I mean, I’m going to find the time to relax regardless. The only thing I’m doing for sure is getting ready for the upcoming work week, i.e., filling out my planner and packing my lunch for Monday. It’s fine if I don’t do anything on Sunday. I think Saturday will be busy enough for the whole weekend lol. So, that’s how my weekend is shaping up, and I hope it’ll be a good one.
