One in and one out .....and back in again....

The small boat crisis deepens in the U.K as we passed last years total of 36,345 people illegally crossing The English Channel to claim asylum here, and is not even November. They are mostly young men of Muslim and east coast African origin.
It reached farcical levels this week as one part of the government's new policies to push back numbers, the so called 'one in , one out' policy, where every asylum seeker the U.K deports to France we get a more deserving one to come here from France, the idea being its deterrent to the more unscrupulous Channel Hopper. The scheme started in August to great fanfare but one of only 46 sent back so far just jumped back on a boat from France and straight back to England! The French simply release them back on to the streets of France to do as they please.
The Sun - 'One in and one out ...and straight back again'
It's all rather embarrassing for the Labor government . The guy was Iranian and the U.K dont deport to Iran. He claimed he felt unsafe in France and so back in the U.K Illegally. I dont think this plan is going to slow the numbers guys.
Another thing that rankles is France's glee in encouraging asylum seekers to cross the Channel and eff off out of France. Most of the boats enter the North Sea on a narrow tidal channel in France and it would take much to simply block the end to stop them crossing. But the French dont want to because they clearly want them to leave, even though we pay them millions of Euros every year to help slow the flow. We are on course to hitting the record 45, 980 that crossed in 2022, the post Covid lag year.
Problem number three is the inability for the past two governments to stem the flow is opening the door for a far right government here ,what nobody should want here. Reform Party are flying in the polls and may well win a seat in Wales tonight, hardcore Labor territory. Reform is an anti immigrant party. Every other European country is heading in the same direction as the far right sweep the continent like Hitler did.

If England doesn't stop immigrants or so called asylum seekers one day England will not remain England it will become anything else. May be Asylumland. Recently , one of our great cricketers found asylum there. The word 'asylum' may be disliked but it's that.
