Police dog rescues a missing man in Maine

York Maine Police Department Sergeant Jon Rogers answered an emergency call from a relative of a 79 year old man who suffers cognitive impairment who went missing from his home around 10:30 pm on Wednesday October 29. Officer Rogers with the assistance of his K9 German Shepherd Gunther went to search for the missing man near his home. The missing man was seen by the police officer and his K9 partner about 30 minutes later after Gunther picked up the scent. The missing man was laying on the ground. The good news is that the missing man without showing signs of being harmed. Firefighters with York Village and an ambulance from York Village took the man who was found around 4 am to York Hospital where the missing is being evaluated. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/cri...

Dogs are incredible trackers. I have a Belgian Malinois and they are often used by the police.
