Missing dog that went missing five years found safe

Five years ago, a female Chihuahua mixed dog named Penny escaped from her owner's home in Lucedale Mississippi that is owned by Kristy Taylor. Just recently Kristy received a phone call from an animal shelter in Florida giving her the good news that Penny who had a microchip on her coat was discovered by a person who saw a stray dog in Volusia County who turned the dog to the animal shelter. Kristy went from Lucedale to the Orlando area to reunite with Penny at the animal shelter on Wednesday October 29 in the company of a family friend.
