There is a tallest statue of Lord Hanuman in Jaku temple in Shimla. Shimla itself is at a height around 7100 feet. Jaku temple is around 1000 feet higher. Travellers avail the ropeway to reach there. It is cold there. People workship lord Hanuman and offer puja.

We missed going there as the weather was not good. I would really like to visit the temple on our next visit. Not sure when that would happen.

thanks Arunimaji there are lot of steps to be climbed even after using the elevator and also ropeway. My mother found it difficult but we encouraged her in the name of great Hanumanji

Ropeway sounds good. Does the ropeway starts from Mall Road in Shimla?

We have been to this temple many years ago.
It is very famous.
And well, there were a lot of Monkeys so one has to be very careful about them.
