Lime trees are very useful. Resorts these days plant them. In bengal there are three types of limes like kagji lebu, pati lebu and gandharaj lebu. They are cut into small pieces and given with lentils with rice in bengal.

I use lime leaves to make a chutney from Barisal along with Aam papad( aam shokto) and grated coconut and a little bit of salt and sugar.
