Good Morning My Friends

it's a pretty decent morning here.
I left early to go to Walmart to grab gas and the plus side of that was I went in Walmart and grabbed new yarn. Plus my mom's insulin...I know, I'm such a great kid.
The amount of things that I carry with me at all times now is getting ridiculous lol. I carry beads for bracelets now and now yarn and needles. Apparently I'm getting into knitting, stitching and crocheting. I think it's the memories attached to the yarn work that has me getting back into it.
We sold grams electric organ last night. Oh the guy was super excited and it was great to see. He was playing it and knew so much more about it than I did. It was just great to see so much excitement over it. Gram would have loved his reaction.
A few more things and maybe I can get the shop going. It would be great.
The shop itself is coming along but I really need to make a Christmas push. I'm really hoping that this works.
So far the new routine is going well. I'm working on my Nightmare Before Christmas puzzle which is taking longer than I thought. It's only 500 pieces but the edge is all one color so it's a tad difficult.
I'm reading at night and I could have read more last night but I was tired. I did make progress on my way overdue ARC though so yay.
I have a meeting tonight. The fire department has gotten the go ahead to really start planning a jr firefighter program so this meeting tonight is to start that. I'm not really involved in it but since our station commander is out of town right now, he asked me to sit in for him. So I will and I'll smile and pretend to be the happy helper.
There's a lot behind that but I won't get into it because it never changes. Nothing ever really changes.
I also have a small EMS training to go to tonight. Something new about the 12 leads so I'll be leaving work, going straight to EMS then going straight to the main for that meeting.
I'm excited that my little shop is growing and I'm learning new things. I'm happy that I'm finding a routine. I won't say that I have found a new normal but I found a way to survive.
I know that one day it won't be just surviving but that's what it is right now.
What are you up to today?

I am SO glad that guy was excited about the organ. It is an absolute joy to see someone excited about something your loved one was so fond of.
I have to go to the post office and pharmacy today, and then pack everything for my trip to Disneyland. We leave at 4am tomorrow.
