They Lost Our Loyalty

For ten years we've been regular customers of a Mexican restaurant called "Fiesta Time Amigos." They're locally owned but have 3 locations.
Then about 2-3 years ago they raised their prices something like 24% and they did another big increase this year.
Plus, their service used to be friendly and energetic and lately it has been just lackluster.
So we found a different Mexican restaurant to go to on a regular basis and we're really enjoying the food, prices, and service there.
Loyalty matters. They should have kept making their regular customers happy.

It does. I left my wallet home one day and didn’t discover it until I went to pay my lunch bill. No problem when you’re a regular.
I don’t know how you can stand to eat in Chuy’s with that weirdo in there every day.

I do so agree, loyalty is everything ….why are some businesses so greedy, instead of having good repeat custom !

@looeyville I have concluded that it’s best not to return to a restaurant after a good experience but to keep trying new places. In saying that next Tuesday I shall be dining in a place in Edinburgh that I always go to when I’m in town. It’s a Turkish place called Meze Meze and it’s splendiferous. But places do seem to raise prices and lower service one they are established.

I don't blame you for going to another place to eat
when it's YOUR $ they are taking every time you go in
& when they lose touch with the reg people they'll lose
a lot of customers & soon be out of business.
