A Rough Patch, Then a Sweet Apology

Hi MyLot friends, I just wanted to share something that happened between me and my husband recently. We had an argument because he scolded me in front of my mother, and it really hurt my feelings. We ended up not talking for two days, and the atmosphere at home was pretty heavy.
But last night, he asked to talk to me in private. He apologized sincerely, and to my surprise, he brought flowers and balloons to make it up to me. It was a simple gesture, but it really showed that he wanted to fix things between us.
I’m still processing my feelings, but I appreciate the effort he made to say sorry and make peace.
Have any of you experienced something similar—an argument followed by a sweet or unexpected apology from your partner?

Thank you so much @Amber! It really meant a lot to me that he made the effort to apologize in such a thoughtful way. I’m still processing everything, but it’s comforting to feel that he truly wanted to make things right. Have you ever had a similar experience?
