no problem! it happens! nywy, think first of how you want your reception to be. think of the venue, then choose an appropriate theme. or, it could be the other way around if you already have the theme in mind. i always believe in keeping everything accdg to the theme - from the invits down to the favors. when is it going to be and where do you intend to hold it? is it formal? for how many people? consider hiring an emcee and a band. if you like, you can hire a program director, too, if there's one in your area. i'm a wedding coordinator and i'd be glad to help but maybe, not through mylot where everybody can read our discussions. if you want, add me to your friends list so we can discuss there.

I didn't get to have a Wedding or reception. I would think about the amount of money you are expecting to spend depending on the amount of guests you will have. What are you looking for during the reception? Stick to what you like and work around that. Some foods are better served in a sit down style while others are better to serve from a buffet. How formal do you want it to be? Some people think about the reception as just the food that will be served but think about the amount of time you will be able to spend with your guests and how much fun you want to have. Talk with others in your area or where you are planning on the wedding being for reccomendations. Music, dancing, food, pictures, drinks, and amount of time and money are things you will need to consider. Best of luck to you and your fiance. Hope this helps.

It was wonderful, I guess it depends how much money you've got, make enquiries. Too much time taking photographs instead of dancing.
