Tanzanian Government blocking wildebeests from entering Kenya – A war against nature?

Cold war between Kenya and Tanzania is escalating and taking different twists, each passing day. What started as online dissing characterised by provocative memes escalated into use of offensive words especially during the CHAN games which the two countries co-hosted alongside Uganda. Elections in Tanzania worsened the situation when some Kenyan activists were arrested and detained for days in Tanzania. A Kenyan teacher was killed in the violence that arose after the highly condemned elections. A Kenyan journalist working for the CNN gave an expose of malpractices by the Tanzanian government further infuriating the Tanzanian government. In retaliation, the Tanzanian government has blocked wildebeests from crossing the border from Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park to Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve. I find it funny and a bit barbaric because one can never wage and win a war against nature!
