Mail today...

Earlier today, I went out and got the mail. No bills, thankfully, but I got two catalogs, a couple of people wanting money that I don't have, and something about a PG&E settlement. Crummy, but no bills, at least. I didn't walk very long because I was starting to feel weird(er than usual), and currently I have a headache and a sore throat. Joy. The widget in the corner of the computer screen says 54°F and "Sunny" and all I can see out the window is overcast-ness. Hope all is going well with you in your part of myLot land, and hope you got something pleasant in the mail!

Interesting. How often do you get mail, by the way? Is it everyday you get something? Because we don't really get mail anymore where I am. Only bills that come once a month or so... Nobody really sends letters or cards through the mail anymore. If those are ever sent, they are either through email now, or just handed personally. I also don't ever remember getting catalogs through the mail. Maybe that's not a thing in my country. Or are you somehow subscribed to them that's why you received them?

Some catalogs I subscribe to, some they just send to me because I ordered something from them, and some are just junk mail. I don't receive mail every day. I always post about what I receive in the mail (We don't get mail here Sundays), and sometimes it's "Nada, zip, zilch...." (nothing).

@xstitcher Hmm... ok. Still seems like you get mail way, way, way more often than we do. Like I said, we get mail like once a month, and it's only just the bills... Come to think of it, it's only just the electric bill now, since the phone company sends their bill through email only. Same for credit cards - email or online only. Perhaps its those junk mail you mentioned that makes up the bulk of it? What are examples of junk mail anyway? I have no idea since we apparently don't have those here.
