Trump's Bubble

When you actually live in the real world you experience particular events which give you an understanding of reality. For example; You go shopping. This store doesn't have the items you want. Maybe it does sometimes, but you can't rely on it. So you make alternatives. This person treats you like dirt, so you go elsewhere. It is no remarkable situation. It's common sense. When one lives in a plastic bubble, where they are immune from reality, these simple things are beyond their comprehension. This is why, surprise! so many nations have ceased to buy American goods, or rely on America. And this is why America had absolutely no awareness there were other 'shops' that the world can utilise.

It's a mixed bag. Most countries won't allow u.s. made products to be sold in thier country..

exactly... due to the tariffs that Trump stupidly slapped on the goods. Put it like this.. We sell coffee. With the US tariffs our coffee , which being the world's best, has always been expensive. Now it is even more expensive. Instead of selling X tons, we sell less because it is so expensive most people can't afford it. If we sell to another country. Over time we sell less and less to the US, more and more to other countries until we don't have any to sell to the US. Now you know if you go to Shop 1 and they sell an item for $2.00 and Shop 2 sells it for $1.75 where you are shopping. Eventually the items sit on the shelves of Shop 1 until they grow hair, and fly off the shelves at Shop 2.

@jaylar - countries not selling u.s. made products has always been a problem. As for your store example, it's called capitalism. We use our money to buy a deal that we will be happy with in either price, quality and personal taste.

@Plethos we are familiar with reality so that we knew that if there is a tariff put on a product we are paying the price. Trump doesn't know that

Even for rump the Somali comments were hateful. Yes, Somali adult unemployment is near 40% , as it is around the world ( bar Somalia, ironically) , but that guy is unhinged now
