Calls...

I came home from the store--maybe one of these phone calls was before I left--
I called the Salvation Army and left a message about bell ringing. I was told by a lady at church who works a lot with them that I was supposed to do it Saturdays, but they Salvation Army lady hasn't called me yet, and I'd like to hear from her.
The people that I had an interview with said they'd call me today with a yea or nay, as to whether they were going to hire me or someone else, but they haven't called either, so I called them and left a message.

I was on the phone just now with the Health Center, (where I see my doctor), to make an appointment about why I get sick every month pretty much like clockwork.
I told the lady that I believe I talked to someone about it before, but never got an answer/solution (although thinking I've talked to someone may be in my head). I got an appointment with someone who is not my regular provider (because she is hardly ever available) on Monday the eighth.
I guess I'll call the apartment complex I've been trying to get into again and leave yet another message that I'm interested in leasing. I remember thinking to myself that I should just go and talk to someone in the office, but I sure don't feel like it today.
Right now, It's almost two o clock, so I guess I should go and check the mail--maybe not until later. I haven't had lunch yet, so I guess I should.
Have a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land!

No. At least thanks to that fouled-up Lyft ride I know where it is.

If you can do things in person, you should. I perfer face-to-face or online, because I know how people lie.
