Lucifugous

This is a cool word, right? Ever heard it before? Me neither. It means to flee the light. Originally used to describe certain insects or animals, I think we could apply it to bad guys in today's culture. They'll do things in the dark in secret that they wouldn't do in the light of day, making them lucifugous. Have you ever felt lucifugous, perhaps when you hadn't yet had your morning coffee?

Maybe it is derived from Lucifer ..coz he flees the light.
