Did you know that the candy candy started off as a sugar stick. The sugar stick was passed out to kids. In the 19th century candy canes had a hook and were used to decorate your tree. In 1900 candy canes that tasted like peppermint were invented and were passed out to children and adults. Now there are many flavors of candy canes. With me I will stick to the peppermint ones.

My favorites are peppermint as well. I didn't pick any up this year and now wish I did.

I like the peppermint kind, but it is fun to try the different flavors.
