A little upset

My mother came by today to pick up something. She seen all of my beads and jewelry making supplies and mentioned she wanted a pink pearl bracelet one day and that she'd pay me for it. Well I found a beautiful gold chariot holding a diamond in a heart charm. Then I gathered up some different gold beads and pink pearls. I wanted to make it now, so I could give it to her for Christmas. I wasn't planning on charging my Mother for it. Well, I got the beads all strung on some wire (the nylon string was too thick to fit in the holes and I added a lobster clasp on one end and tried my best to secure it. Then, I tried to put a circular piece on the other end to connect the lobster clasp to and finish the bracelet. I tried to secure the circular piece but I just couldn't get it and the entire thing just fell apart all over the floor. I am pretty upset. I think I need to try some thicker memory wire and maybe some elastic string. Now, I've probably lost half of the beads I was using. I don't know if I can replicate it again.
