I found Van helsing really so scarry. It is one of the best horror movie i ever seen. What you people feel about it? I think its a perfect time for a sequel of this famous movie.

What made it scary to you? I have watched the movie a few times (we have it on DVD). My 7 year old like the movie as well. I can't say that is was scarey to me at all. I don't think it can even be classified as a horror movie. I think it is an action film (I could be wrong though). I think a sequel would be okay. I don't know if it could live up to the first movie though. That is the thing about sequels, the majority of the time they just don't work.

I love scary films. I am 28 and have been watching them since I was really young - 10 or 11. The only movie that really got ot me recently was The Grudge. I don't even know what it is about that movie. It really bothered me though. Before that, many ears ago, it was Candyman. Other than those two, I can't think of a movie that bothered me. I wasn to watch the Hills Have Eyes unrated, but I have heard that is really gory.

I thought the movie was an adventure one. It falls in the category of Indiana Jones, Crocodile Dundee, and the likes.

I didnĀ“t find it scarry, not even a little. And it has a bad developed plot. And the werewolf FX could be better. I hope they do not do a sequel, or if they do, do it better this time.

the dance scene in Van Helsing - costumes and special effects made for an intriguing scene of a ball
Ok, you found it scary, does that mean you have vampires in India? think not...anyway,, the filming done in the movie was beautiful, the ladies though creature like were beautiful..especially Marishka! So sad, too bad! The Friar was funny. Effects of morphing into Werewolf was the best we have seen in a while. Effects with going though the mirror/ice/door was cool. Not so sure IF in real life I could do it. Oh, and dancing at the ball that was just a really nice filmography of costumes and effects with the mirror. So watching this is more that it supposed to be scary!! If you want scary try House of 1000 Corpses and 28 days later...those are the only 2 that have weirded us out lately. Thank goodness we found them.

I love the movie. I didn't find it scary at all. I loved the humor in it and the overall story line. It was well done. We have a copy of the DVD and we watch it fairly often. It's one of our favorites.
