I had to write myself directions to get to the home of the in laws of the man whose dog I was walking (the man's name is Manuel).
As I wrote via my phone, I got there an hour early because I'm a bad judge of timing.
After I had texted Manuel to let him know I was there early, I guess he texted his in laws because after a few minutes the father in law came out and asked if I wanted to come in and wait.
The dog was a little...something. I think the man said what kind of dog she was, but I forget. I tried to get a photo of her, but she was fast.
Manuel walked with me to the dog park, and stayed for a bit, but then he had to leave and catch his plane. His dog was not happy. She went to the fence and watched him go, and kept looking in that direction after he was gone. At least once if not twice I was afraid she was going to jump the fence.
Since part of my two hours I was supposed to be with her was taken up, I just decided to walk her back to the in-laws' house. That took another hour, because I had a bit of difficulty figuring out the way to go since Manuel had walked with me to the dog park a different way than I had come.
I am going to be walking this dog every day until the first of January, so I should get used to the route. Now I also know that I don't have to take as early a bus as I did to get there!
Manuel actually asked me how I'd like to be paid while we were walking to the dog park, and paid me via PayPal (which I had chosen of the apps and such he'd given me), paid me, and asked me to see if the money had gotten there. I told him I couldn't tell until I got home, since I'm no good at most phone apps.
A couple of minutes ago I checked, and the money is in my PayPal account. I am going to text him that it got there in a minute. After that I'll have lunch, do Bible study, and head to the bank to deposit the check my brother sent me and the $20 I was paid for watching the bird.
I hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
(sorry a lot of things I said above were a recap of what I said in previous posts).

Maybe you’ll able to take a picture of the dog later. I’m sure it’s a cutie. Of course, you and I are inclined to think all dogs are cuties.
Speaking of which, I need to walk my dog. I wish I could pay you to walk my Sadie. I don’t mind it, I just can’t walk her long.

I wish I could be there to walk your Sadie, too--whether you paid me or not.

That's alright. I love reading your stories. It's good you're being paid.
