Sheesh...(oh, and hello again, myLot!)

I'm home.
The bell ringing thing for the Salvation Army fell through. Someone else was ringing in the spot I was in last time, but I noticed another kettle holder was out, so I decided to wait for the lady to show up with the kettle like last time. I waited. And I waited. And I waited.
Finally I went to talk to the lady who was already ringing the bell to ask if someone was going to bring another kettle. She tried to call them but couldn't get through. Then she told me where the Salvation Army was and that I should go down there and ask. I guess after she saw the "Really?" look on my face, she said she'd go. So, I got to ring the bell for about five minutes before she came back and said that they were too busy with wrapping gifts or something, so I just texted the father in law of the man whose dog I'm walking, and said I was on my way.
I went down there, and couldn't recall the "easy way" the father in law tried to show me yesterday, so I went the long way (aka the way my Google maps app showed me) and when I got to the house he said "You took the long way again, didn't you?" then he insisted I get in the car and he showed me the direction I should be going. I guess he was trying to help, but he seemed kind of gruff about it.
We went to the dog park, and I hung out there with the dog for nearly two hours, and then I went back to the in-law's home. I finally remembered the "easy way" on the way home.
When I caught the bus and headed home, I stopped at the bank and gave a Christmas card to my favorite teller, and then walked the rest of the way home (like I needed to walk more
) My legs seriously hurt. I keep thinking about how I need to get back to the gym and work my upper body, but I keep telling myself I don't feel like it. Maybe I can a little later when my legs don't hurt so much.
I tried to get a photo or two of the dog while we were at the dog park, but she kept running out of the frame.
The photo above is the best one I think I got of her.
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

He didn't seem upset about it, just said something like, "You're not coming tomorrow?" I don't have to skip it, I want to skip it. I need a break, and what better day to do it than the day of rest?

@xstitcher It makes perfect sense. That’s a lot of exercise. At least you know until you quit walking the dog, there are very good reasons to skip the gym. No way do you want to mess anything up when walking so much is already taking so much out of you. Walking is not to be underestimated as exercise!
I love the picture of the dog!

@AmbiePam Glad you like it! :D She's cute, just kind of skittish. I think she's getting used to me, though.

Yes, and she's unleashed because we were at a fenced-in dog park.
