Does It Take You 21 Seconds to Pee?

Hey, there's science for everything.
Apparently the average time it takes for a healthy person to pee is right about 21 seconds.
They even have a name for it, "The 21-second rule."
Not only humans take 21 seconds to urinate, but so do most mammals that weigh more than 6 pounds .
Guess what affects how long it takes you to pee? Hydration status and your own unique anatomy can influence urination time, but 21 seconds is generally considered a the golden rule for emptying your bladder.
So now you know.

And I actually did count/time my first morning pee this morning and it was exactly 21 seconds. LOL!

Never thought about it. Often takes me longer to decide to get up and pee.
