Does It Take You 21 Seconds to Pee?

Hey, there's science for everything. Apparently the average time it takes for a healthy person to pee is right about 21 seconds. They even have a name for it, "The 21-second rule." Not only humans take 21 seconds to urinate, but so do most mammals that weigh more than 6 pounds . Guess what affects how long it takes you to pee? Hydration status and your own unique anatomy can influence urination time, but 21 seconds is generally considered a the golden rule for emptying your bladder. So now you know.

And I actually did count/time my first morning pee this morning and it was exactly 21 seconds. LOL!

Never thought about it. Often takes me longer to decide to get up and pee.

That is an interesting write I haven't seen yet.

Now, I'll have to set a timer when I go in to the bathroom later and see how normal I am.

interesting, I never count tho lol. but I believe it might be 21 second or longer, especially in the morning pee
