Long story short, I moved to Bali last year because I wanted to have a better life.
Over the past year, I’ve grown to like the vibe, the warm weather, and the abundance of food places. But even so, I’m still trying to adapt, especially when it comes to transportation (public transport here is still limited), the differences in food, and trying to make new friends.
For those of you who have lived outside the city where you grew up, do you have any tips for living comfortably?
I would life to listen any tips that maybe useful one day.

I have mostly lived in the same state (except for a few years as a child), but changed cities a couple of times. I bet when people talk to you they enjoy being around you since you seem so friendly. Hopefully, that will lead you to more and more friends.

Moving anywhere is always an adjustment. I've lived in Daytona since 2003, but moving from what's considered the oldest city to an actual city vibe, was deffently different. Just take it one day at a time, and plan ahead as much as you can.

I've lived in the same city and state all of my life.

Where I live, I have to have a car to go anywhere. Do you think you may need to buy a car for better transportation?
