Well, a successful day. Mostly.

Today, turned into a rare home day. George spent the vast majority outside as is his habit. He's busy enjoying t.v. and I'm fixing to ask him to run me up to the drug store tomorrow. I felt fine most of the day, but colds often start small and progress. I know I can only treat the symptoms, but that's the point. I need to be able to do what George needs, as well as take care of myself. Bills still need paying after all and the world doesn't stop turning no matter how much we'd want it to. I just got finished paying the water bill after all.
I managed to wash some dishes (still need to run the dishwasher), but one thing at a time. I'm getting things done in-between waiting on George, which I seem to do a little less of everyday because he wants to step up and do things on his own.

I'm glad George is doing more things. Just get enough rest until you feel better.

"the world doesn't stop turning" I'm with you on that
& your right "take care of myself" that's a must do thing
We all have days we just want to sit & relax a spell &
there's nothing wrong with that, we need our down
time that goes without saying Just to unwind a bit.
