What small joys bring light to your day?

I delight in seeing my cat, Oliver, play with his gray fuzzy mouse, flipping it and tossing it and then chasing it once he's tossed it a few feet away. I find joy looking at the wedding ring on my left hand and knowing that it means and how much my husband loves me. My heart smiles when I see the birds and squirrels at the feeder in the back yard. What small joys bring light to your day?

Nature for sure..the green trees the big evergreens around here and the skies are so lovely.

When my Chihuahua lifts her right back leg for me to scratch under it, when I get a text from my niece (Amyra), when my dad asks if I need anything, and when I sleep past 5am! Unfortunately, that last one didn’t happen.

Thinking about my husband...bittersweet. Watching videos on YouTube in which dogs find their owners in a pet shelter. Knowing that one day I will see my husband and my dogs again.
