Last December 19, just a day before the much-awaited Otaku Musika Festival event, our group Anime Hunters gathered for a memorable Year-End Party. It wasn’t just about celebrating the close of another year—it was about strengthening the bonds that make our community special. We're almost complete during that time. But our YEP has been yearly since 2012 The night was filled with gift-giving, jokes, and endless laughter. Each present exchanged carried more than material value—it symbolized friendship, appreciation, and the joy of being part of a group that shares the same passion for anime and cosplay. What made the event even more heartwarming was the generosity of our members. Some donated money and actual food to ensure the party could push through successfully. Their contributions reminded us that when we come together, we can create something truly meaningful. The funny part about out exchange gifts is we shared useful items at each other while using hilarious codenames during the selection. And we sing our hearts out with anime songs in the videoke. With Otaku Musika happening the very next day, our party felt like the perfect warm-up. It reminded us that cosplay and anime aren’t just hobbies—they’re bridges that connect people, inspire creativity, and build lasting friendships. Have you ever attended a year-end party with your cosplay or anime group? How did you celebrate, and what made it special for you? Share your stories in the comments—we’d love to hear how your community closes the year with joy and camaraderie!

My niece (I mentioned in your first post) is trying to get her younger sister into artime. Amyra, the 14 year old, is a talented artist, but she is still trying to do anime better. She’s taking art lessons to get a more precise feel for it. Her regular art has won awards, but her anime is still a work in progress.

No I can't say that I've ever done that. Sounds like fun!
