But I finally got around to opening my Christmas presents. One was hiding, and I had forgotten about it completely.
The hidden one was from one of my pen pals. He's even bigger into anime than I am, and he sent me what appears to be a crossover story of Naruto and [i]Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles[i]. I am sure that I am going to enjoy that, especially if it's a cross over.
The middle one was from a lady at church who always seems to have gifts for everybody. The bag from her contained a candy-cane shaped pen attached to a card with a version of The Legend of the Candy Cane on it, a kitchen towel, a bag of "Snowman Fluffs" (looks like marshmallows), two Vaseline lip balms and a pair of Dr. Scholl's slipper socks.
The final one was from my "surrogate Mama". She gave me two books, both about dogs, a cute little picture in a half-a-glass ball, and a bracelet (Most of my bracelets are from her.
)
Everything was very nice, and I will get to thank the two ladies tomorrow. The pen pal I will be sending a thank-you letter to asap.
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

All those gifts sound good. They are thoughtful. You are going to enjoy the booms as you love reading. And other things too are quite the useful ones.

I am doing the best I can to enjoy working at home healing up from a swollen lower leg.

Me I haven't gotten one. Ususlly Santa Claus gives our Christmas presents January 1. That's New Year day and he distributes them during our beach outing.
