It's a success the Yuletide Musical Concert of La Carlota Tabernacle Choir which is composed 104 persons who came from the Branches of La Carlota District and Ward of Bacolod South Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The musical presentation started at 6 in the evening at the public plaza of our small city. Selected primary childred portrayed the Nativity tableau while the choir sung "Silent Night". My 4-year-old granddaughter Skye joined with the others carrying their battery-operated candle toy surrounding the Holy Family played by a boy and girl kid who's carrying a baby doll wrapped in a swaddling clothes as an infant Jesus. And they joined the Choir singing "Gethsemane". "Jesus is no ordinary man" - a song composed/written by Janice Kapp Perry (1985), was sung by Lucille Casingal, a member of Sum-ag Ward. Bacolod South Stake. And "Angel Among Us", a song written by Don Goodman and Becky Hobbs (1993) interprered by sister Kaylee Salaver, a member of Manggapsang Branch, La Carlota District. My wife and I were engrossed by the angelic voices of the Choir and indeed very happy for our two granddaughters joined the Choir. Thank God favor us with a good weather.
