Second best day.

It's rare that I do well on here, but breaking a dime a day is good compared to where I was. I hope for more, but I can only do so much. I'm posting this now, because George and I have been doing our nighttime routine around 10, and I want to be done with the laptop by then.
I've made a rule for myself, that my laptop doesn't go into my bedroom. When I lived in a dorm-style situation, I didn't have much of a choice. But, with our apartments and now my house, I've been able to keep it out.
My phone goes in there, only because in an emergency (and I've had to call 911 twice before) I didn't need to be scrambling to find it. For that reason I keep it on my person or within arm's reach. but I typically stay off of it. All work is done usually outside of the bedroom.
So, if I don't see anyone anymore before I put the computer down for the night, good night.

If I didn't use my laptop in the bedroom I would never get anything done, if I take it outside of my room a child will interrupt or want it etc etc.
I have my phone in our room too, because I do 70 percent of things on my phone. AS someone who does most of thier earning virtually they both are right next to the bed if i am not using them. lol but i get it.
I am going to try to hang out for a little bit in between of cleaning up some more before i lose oall my gumption for the night

You are a mom with two kids, it's understandable. I used to have an office, but it's become second pod for medical supplies.

@kaylachan When we get back to our house and life gets more normal I’d like to set up an office, for my computer and my craft stuff but I don’t know if it will happen.

@thislittlepennyearns I think you should. You deserve a dedicated space to work and do your own things.

Yeah. You need bounderies, and it's up to you to set them and stick to them.

Well if you just live in one room, that makes sense.

I also prefer leaving my laptop in the sitting room otherwise I might end up browsing too much
