Hey guys. Here is an exerpt from a b ook I am writing with some friends on greaving and loss. I WANT TO MEED YOU. Forward. I wrote this song back in two thousand seven for a fifteen-year-old girl who's situation weighed bery heavily on my heart. She was pregnant by a man who wasn't treating her very well at all. She did not feel that she had anyone to turn too. How could anyone possibly understand her situation? I wrote this song for her, and others like her, who feel that Christians cannot be confided in because they have no idea what a normal person goes through. I wanted to tel her that my heart was absolutely breaking for her, and that I was in no position to judge her, because, if it wasn't for Jesus, I would probably have been in a similar situation or worse. The only feet any of us have to stand on have nail holes in them. I wanted to put this song into this anthollogy because it is a message to people in many terrible situations. If the person we lost would only have openned up to one of us, might things have been different? We will never know. But what about the people who are still allive? It is important for everyone to knnow that, no matter where they are in life, Jesus still wants to meet them. 1. I want to meet you in your home on the street.
