One of the things Chris asked for for Christmas was this block builder bear. Think Lego… but for people with very steady hands and excellent eyesight. They’ve been haunting my TikTok and Facebook feed forever, and I wanted to get him one, but you know — bills, adulthood, the usual buzzkills. Then freelance work and writing picked back up, and I got an offer to review one. Boom. Christmas miracle. Win-win. I ordered it before Christmas, and naturally it showed up fashionably late — a little over a week ago. Chris worked on it a bit each night after work and dinner, slowly sacrificing his sanity one microscopic block at a time. He finally finished it last night, and honestly… it’s way cooler than I expected. It even has a tiny drawer in its stomach. I have no idea what you’re supposed to hide in there besides emergency cash or maybe some “herbal essentials.” Either way, he loves it, and once we’re done remodeling, it’ll look pretty awesome on the craft room shelf. Now I’m curious — what was the coolest Christmas present you got?
