i have two , one set up in dining area and one in car port. i have another camera i need to put somewhere inside the house. where exactly still i am thinking which is the best place. but of course not inside any bedroom. where privacy will be compromised. maybe in the living room.
setting cameras inside in our house is good so to check what's happening at home when we're away. but then with limited cameras i have, where the best spot to place it, i need to think and plan it carefully. where it can get best view

Based on the design of your house, find a place where it can see at least your main entrance. If at all possible, any adational entrances to the outside should be visable, too.

yes we have another entrance where i am considering setting up this camera. but how I'll hang or screw it , still deciding about it. as I'm using a plug and its not battery. it needs to be near the electrical outlet to plug it into

@hotsummer We have ours on a table pointed where we want it to go. That works for us.

My dad got me a doorbell camera, and that’s really all I need in my apartment.
His house has a doorbell camera, but also a camera aimed at the front door for when you first walk in their house. They don’t really want their comings and going noted intensively.

it's great to have cameras. but then, being watched or be seen in every area of the house might be unnecessary. even if we know it's only our family that can see us.
