I took Bell, the dog next door, out for a walk like my neighbor asked. We went in sort of a zig-zag fashion, as she went where she wanted, but for the most part we went out the side of the complex, around to the front, then past the front to the dirt trail, then to the gate that's closest to my mailbox. When we first went to the side of the complex I said, "Oh, are we going to go and visit Chewie and Chilly (two dogs that live in that area of the complex next door to each other)?" Not long after I said that, here comes Chewie's mom walking him! Chewie is a super cute little dog--no clue what kind he is, but to me he looks more like and Ewok than a Wookie. Thankfully Chewie's Mom picked him up , 'cause while Bell wasn't being vicious, she was bigger than Chewie and I don't know what would have happened. When Bell and I went on, we went around the front of the complex to the dirt trail, down to the gate nearest my mailbox, and went back into the complex. I wanted to go straight to my mailbox, but Bell pulled me around this seating area that has a sidewalk around it before we got to my mailbox. We were nearly home when Bell jumped up and put her paws on the patio wall of the young man that lives behind my next door neighbors. I heard the young man's younger dog barking, and he brought her out (her name is Bella Luna) so that she and Bell could play a bit. As far as the mail I got something from the Health Center where I see my doctor, a Kohl's ad, something regarding free meals that I'd like to check out, something from my bank, I'm guessing for taxes, "Your Opinion Needed" from the Red Cross, newspaper ads, and papers saying my Medi-Cal Benefits have been renewed. Phew! Now I'm going to throw some things away that I don't need, and check out my notifications. Hope all is well in your part of myLot land!
