Jamaica, as most Third World nations, has various connections to China. China 'invaded' Africa in the 70s, moving slowly so as not to get attention. It continued across the Atlantic, into the Caribbean, South America, until their products fill the shelves, their 'belt and road' program captures the governments. Although China pretends it is effected by US tariffs, it really isn't. It doesn't have to buy from the US nor sell. Knowing how to play Trump China has gained a larger economy than the US. The reactions of the US .. its racism, its sense of power, etc. has turned off the world which doesn't need it. The tragedy for Americans is that they will not recover from the Trump disaster.
