These telecom companies need to be checked

two days ago, I was trying to convert a certain amount of airtime to data to surf the internet..
Unlike in the USA where subscribers pay for a monthly data plan, we convert airtime to data in Nigeria which often comes with an expiration period for example 200 naira airtime for 1gig , which you must exhaust within a certain amount of days (1 day, 2days and so on) depending on the data plan
So, I tried converting 250 naira to 1gig data based on the two options available but the telecom company ended up converting a larger amount of airtime 2500 naira to 6 gig data which wasn't even part of the options I saw..that caught me off guard..
I decided not to call support because I know they won't be of any help..they would just give me the runaround..It really got to me because I wasn’t expecting it at all

So there are 1900 Naira in £1.
So 2500 Naira to 6GB of Data sounds like a really good deal if that's what someone wants
How much internet data do you normally use in a one month period?
Here in Scotland I use about 300GB.
I have an unlimited call time, text messages and data , unlimited tethering, all included in the plan for £20 monthly.
I have no broadband in the house

@Wrexxo
Data is really easy to use lots of.
I am glad we have packages of calls , texts, data and tethering which makes it quite cheap to use
