The United States purchased Alaska from Russia in 1876 for just $7.2 million dollars, about the cost of insuring Lamar Jackson's knees. Twenty - years later the gold rush happened there and quickly a very good deal for the US. But they won't be buying Greenland at 2 Cents per acre this time around.
It does look like Greenland is going to be very America one day soon but the US were actually drawing troops down there over recent decades, barely 200 now. Greenland always had a Cold War deal that the US could ramp up numbers at any point but they haven't enacted it. They have generous mineral excavation deals on paper but yet to enact them either. No klondike gold volume there but one notable mine up north.
So Greenland and Denmark have pretty much told the US they have carte blanche already so why the stress man? Well Trump wants to talk about owning Greenland and not so much Epstein - and we are indeed no longer talking about Epstein. It does look like Trump is worried about Epstein now. Evidende of him with under age girls would see his MAGA base lynch him from the White House.
There are rare Earth minerals there and all countries now need them, Lithium the new gold rush. Electric car batteries only last ten years and so every car will need a new one when the second-hand market really accelerates.
I do think Europe will kowtow to Trump and not try to stop him overrunning Greenland. What that looks like then who knows.

@thedevilinme he has serious mental issues. I believe his parents never toilet trained him. He has no self control, he needs attention.

Now that he has assured us he will never use the military to take Geenland, goodluck to him in whatever way else he plans to get Greenland.
