It would be a day for us to enjoy, be happy and be entertained to watch the Drum and Lyre corps competition participated in by the schools in our city and neighboring cities this afternoon at the public plaza.
For your unformation, this "Drum and Lyre Corps (DLC) is a popular marching ensemble, especially in the Philippines, featuring percussion (drums, cymbals) and melodic instruments like bell lyres, glockenspiels, marimbas, and vibraphones, alongside a colorful color guard, serving as a vibrant, often school-based, alternative to traditional brass bands in parades and competitions, emphasizing rhythm, discipline, and visual performance."
