Friends, first I must tell you about the Hindu God Kaal Bhairov. This God is a fierce form of Lord Shiva, who is the foremost, deity and known as both the destroyer and creator in the universe. Kaal Bhairov is his fierce form and wears a necklace of skulls. One of the foremost temples dedicated to this God is in the city of Ujjain in Central India. I have been to this temple and I've come back in awe. Offerings of alcohol are often made at this temple. There is a unique phenomena here. When the alcohol is held in a plate to the lips of the deity. slowly, the liquid vanishes. This cannot be explained by science and some scientists decided to study this phenomenon , but could not reach any conclusion. I also made offering of single malt whiskey to the God and he accepted it. Low and behold the plate with with the Scotch was empty. What happened after that is a personal matter, and I will not discuss it, but definitely as a tourist and a man or woman who is interested in knowledge this place is worth a visit. The temple is an architectural delight and nearly 2000 years old.
