Scrolling or Creating?

“The more you create, the more powerful you become.
The more you consume, the more powerful others become.” (Quotes from my coach - Rully)
This quote sounds simple, yet it hits deep.
Let’s be honest with ourselves:
in a day, what do we do more,
creating or consuming?
How much time do we spend scrolling, watching, and living through other people’s lives,
compared to the time we spend writing, learning, creating, or building something from our own thoughts?
Consumption isn’t wrong.
We need entertainment, information, and inspiration.
But when consumption takes over, we slowly become spectators.
While power, influence, and value keep flowing to others.
Maybe the question isn’t about stopping consumption,
but about asking ourselves:
when was the last time we created something, no matter how small?
A sentence.
An idea.
A real step forward.
Because often, power doesn’t come from how much we see,
but from what we dare to bring into the world.

Thank you for sharing that so honestly. I think many of us are in the same place, consuming far more than we realize. What matters is becoming aware of it and taking that first step toward creating.
The fact that you’ve started creating your own work, even recently, is already a big shift. And that good feeling you mentioned? I think that’s a sign you’re reconnecting with your own voice. Creation doesn’t have to be big or perfect. what matters is that it’s yours.
I hope you keep going, little by little. Every small act of creation is a way of reclaiming your power.

Thank you for sharing that so honestly. I think simply realizing the imbalance between consuming and creating is already a powerful first step.
And yes, creating does feel different, doesn’t it? Even when it’s small or imperfect, there’s a quiet satisfaction in knowing something came from you, not just through you.
I believe that feeling is a signal. The more we listen to it, the more naturally creation becomes part of our rhythm, not a pressure—just a practice.

Wisdom is power! For the past two years I believe I have been very creative. And now it's time to take a pause.

That’s beautiful and very honest.
I think knowing when to create and when to pause is also a form of wisdom. Rest isn’t the opposite of creativity; sometimes it’s where creativity is renewed and refined.
A pause can be a conscious choice, not a loss of momentum. It allows what you’ve created over the past two years to settle, mature, and perhaps take a new shape when the time feels right again.
Power doesn’t always look like action. Sometimes, it looks like knowing you’ve earned the stillness.

Thank you so much, I truly appreciate that.
If it resonated with you, then the reflection has already done its job. Sometimes a few honest questions are enough to make us pause, and that pause can be the beginning of something meaningful.
