I like this study because it is high paying and requires minimal commitment. I have some phone calls that I have to do..and a weekly diary that takes about two seconds. I don't go back in the facility until May. I am pretty sure I got the placebo when I got the shot, as I have felt completely normal. I think they are checking GI symptoms for a new flu shot. Anyway, I have spent about 20 bucks of the money, but the rest of it is just sitting accruing. I will need it to pay the rest of my assessment on the pier repair project they are doing here. I can't wait until I don't have that hanging over my head anymore. Have you ever done a clinical study?

"pay the rest of my assessment on the pier repair project they are doing here. I can't wait until I don't have that "
Can I ask what this is?

They are repairing the piers down at the lake. All the landholders here are required to pay a portion of the costs of the repair. It isn't cheap, and why they tacked this on with the annual dues and made it so everyone had a large installment to pay just after Christmas is awful. I could kill the idiots who voted to change the dues date from a respectful April first to Jan 1. However, when their is no pier overhaul being done, they are reasonably affordable, but I don't like when they are requested.

So you own a bit of a pier by a lake.
Wow, awesome.
Do you use it a lot,
It must be awesome having a lake at your door and a pier to use.
Has it got seats.
Is it a big lake?

@Ineeddentures seats? I don't have a boat down there anymore, but I have had them. The boat slip goes with the house though..and is worth a good bit in its own right.

That's great. I did get money the first day I started..maybe 180. I am technically also in a tick study through UVA, but doesn't require anything special no meds etc.

@DianneN I was certain I would get a tick bite last summer, but I never did. I am vigilant if I go outside for any length of time though.

@snowy22315 That’s great.
I got an offer for a $500 migraine study, but I turned it down. The notion that I might have to without pain medicine for a migraine or it might not work, scares me. My migraines are just too agonizing to mess around with.

@AmbiePam I can understand that. Why mess with something that works?

To me, that is more than decent for the little bit you have to do

No. I haven't. I can't because I have to take care of George. and, I wouldn't want to take the risk.

Yep, easy money, especially when you have gotten the placebo.
