Big Scandal in Town.

Last week the weightlifting coach from the highschool in town got arrested. He was arrested when someone came forwatd with infomration that he was carrying on a innapropriate relationship with a student. Said student just turned 17 in December, and their relationship started before she turned 17. Not that matters, because she's under eighteen. I read the initial investiagation interviews with both the underage girl and the coach, and the girl came clean. Shared her phone with the investigator and said that she had slept with him, they had been talking on snap chat and that they had texted. She also didn't see anything wrong with it. The investigator didn't come right out and tell the coach at first that they already knew what had happened. Predictably the coach denied denied denied. Then once he knew that the cop knew he tried to sell some sob story. It was pretty disgusting to read. The coach even said that he would consider dating her when she was of age sometime down the road. They charged him with innapropriate relations between teacher and student and use of two way communcation device to commit a crime. But he hasn't been charged for anything regarding a relationship with someone who wasn't of legal age. So that's pretty maddening. I know it happens everyday all over, but that doesn't make it any more okay, or any better when we hear about it.
