Is it stupidity or is it ignorance?

I spend a lot of time online. Some of it is for work, and some of it is just downtime scrolling when my brain needs a break. Because of that, I see a lot of things. The good, the bad, and the kind of stuff that makes you stop mid-scroll and just stare at the screen for a second.
I find myself reading certain posts more than once, not because they’re deep or thought-provoking, but because I honestly can’t believe what I’m seeing. I reread them just to make sure my eyes didn’t betray me the first time.
And that’s when the questions start. Are people really this clueless about how logic works? Do they genuinely not understand how the real world functions? Or are they just choosing to ignore common sense altogether?
I usually land on ignorance being the culprit, because I have a hard time believing there are that many fully grown adults wandering around with zero grasp on reality. At least, I hope that’s the case.
So now I’m curious. What say you, myLot people? Have you noticed the same thing, or am I just spending too much time online?
