Did You Know That Kangaroos Can Hop Up To 45 Miles Per Hour?

That's some impressive hopping! Apparently kangaroos on average hop about 15 mph but can hit 45 mph in short bursts, not for a long time or consistently. That's for a red kangaroo, which is the most common of the species. Others include antilopine kangaroo, eastern grey kangaroo, and western grey kangaroo. I'm sure you already know that kangaroos are indigenous to Australia and New Guinea. I guess I couldn't outrun a kangaroo.
