Police officers in Wadsworth Ohio answered an emergency call on Friday morning two hours after midnight when a woman was inside of a burning home needed to be rescued. Two police officers arrived at the burning home and they broke down the door. The police officers risked their lives by entering the smoke filled room and when they found the woman inside the home. The police officers get her out of the burning building when the emergency medical services (EMS) personnel arrived to take her by ambulance to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries in the fire. Firefighters from Sharon Township, Rittman, Norton and Seville-Guilford fire departments teamed up to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the authorities.
