Whatcha Readin? Book 1 of 2026 / myLot

I don't think I've read another book this year. If I have it was a short one and I didn't finish it, but when I saw that I have an unlock free on Everand I decided to get a book and read it. A couple weeks ago we watched Hillbilly Elegy on Netflix. It was a film based on JD Vance book. I know many of you have issues with Vance, and no I don't care- nor do I care if that makes you not like me. We're adults, accept that we are allowed to have a difference of opnions. Anyway. The book version was on the homepage when I opened up Everand, so I used my "unlock" and download it. I've only read the first couple pages, but I will say that he is a very good and eloquent writer. So tha't what I'm reading. Are you reading anything good?

Did Ron Howard make his book into a TV series? Or a TV movie? I know the book itself was a huge hit, and I thought I remembered the movie being big too. I need to finish a book someone recommended to me. I keep saying I will, but then I haven’t.

Its a movie on Netflix, it may be a Ron Howard produced thing. I don't know. His growing up years were really sad. What book was it? Or is it?

@thislittlepennyearns It was a fiction book by B. Groves, but I don’t remember the name.
