Well, it was last year too but there were many hoops the distributors had to jump in order to open their dispensaries and there were supply chain issues as well because it's highly-regulated.
The first one just opened in my city of Louisville, Kentucky, which is the 6th one for the State at large. There was limited number of licenses allowed so there won't be a ton of those.
Recreational marijuana is still illegal.
What is the law about marijuana where you live?

Medicinal is legal, but recreational is illegal. I’m fine with medicinal because of it helping so much from epilepsy to some forms of dementia. Even micro dosing can make a huge difference in certain ailments that don’t always respond to other things.

It's absolutely illegal where I live. Never legalized here as recreational nor medicinal.

Who cares what the law is.
It's still illegal to posses here but nobody gets charged with having it if it's like under a couple of ounces.
They want to get the growers, but they are pissing against the wind.
As for medical, the law is stupid as people who wants it genuinely can't afford it because it's a pure rip off
Everyone I know who uses it, buys it from a." Friend "
